Parent Toddler Groups Together

Objectives

We seek to provide an informal support and prayer network to pray for and to encourage each other in the context of developing ministry to children and families.

Our objectives are:

To seek God’s will and pray for each other and the ministry of the groups we represent.
To meet for ‘prayer and share’ – praying together and encouraging each other as we seek to develop a gentle Christian emphasis and foundation for our groups.
To encourage groups from different churches.
To share and pray about specific concerns involved in the running of our groups.
To recognise and respect the unique character and life of each group.
To provide opportunities for exploring age-appropriate resources and materials available.
To learn from each other about initiatives such as parenting courses, exploring faith & opportunities for sharing and friendship.
To share resources where appropriate.
To encourage each other and churches about the opportunities for outreach ministry through these groups.
To provide opportunities for friendship.
To produce newsletters to help leaders keep in touch and include topical ideas and references.
To participate as one of the growing joint church initiatives in the wider church community, offering training and encouragement as appropriate.
