Welcome!

Whether you are a leader or a helper of a parent toddler group, a midweek praise service for toddlers or a Sunday club, group or crèche, or someone who supports them, we extend a very warm welcome to you as we reach out and show God's love to the families coming to our groups. All toddler groups offer an opportunity to meet others and for children to play in a safe welcoming atmosphere.

Many groups are run by Christians in churches as part of outreach to families. What a ministry this is as God calls us to welcome and nurture the Under Fives and their families, many of whom are welcomed into our church buildings each and every week.

It is a privilege to welcome and share the love of Jesus with these families. We pray for ways to help build relationships based on trust and caring, and that we may be guided by the Holy Spirit as we serve these families and gently bring them closer to Jesus.

Every group is uniquely serving its families and each has its own character and vision. Some are big and busy, others small and intimate. Some are run single handed, others have teams of helpers. All are showing God's love in the ways they serve others.

All show God’s love by the care and support of others, in being available to listen and in providing the setting for friendships, play and belonging.

Some have an overtly Christian basis for stories, songs and crafts. Some are tentatively making changes to introduce bible messages and others are offering additional baby and toddler praise services. All are valuable in the service they are providing and love they are showing to families.

Whatever your group is like, we pray that through prayerful foundations, we may serve with a sense of excellence in all we do so that we may form part of the bigger picture as churches reach out into community.

So many families coming through Church doors…

There must be thousands of families welcomed by toddler groups across the UK each week.

This presents so many opportunities for Churches to show God’s love in the care and support of families in our communities. Life with small children can be a lonely time and these groups are often seen as a lifeline for young parent. They also provide somewhere to meet and make friends and a place to get together for child minders and other carers.

In welcoming little children and their grown ups too, we are welcoming Jesus, showing God’s love and sowing seeds for His kingdom.
